Mark Henry Brandstatter was a family man. He was an avid outdoors man, enjoying hunting and fishing in the summer and fall. He loved all sports, especially playing hockey. On any day of the week, you could find Mark in the rink, lacing up, getting ready to play. Whether it was beer league, drop in, pond hockey, or sticks and pucks, Mark was always one of the first men on the ice and last to leave the locker room.
Mark fell in love with hockey as a child, playing on multiple Livonia hockey teams. We could not think of a better way to give back to a game that Mark loved, in the city he loved, than to donate to the Livonia Hockey Association Compassion Fund.
